Challenging the popular jury would, in my opinion, a grave mistake and would lead to speedy justice. Finally, these trials are also an opportunity to listen to beautiful rhetorical exercises. Like all corporations, there are good and bad. But the benefit of lawyers in Assisi often fly high and I happened to drop, quietly, a few tears. The next session of the Assizes of the Charente-Maritime will take place around 15 November. The hearings are open to the public, but obviously it should be noted permanent silence.
