You may have recently discovered the TV show "great library" on France 5. Alexander Jollien, Swiss philosopher, was a very special journey of life (he lived for 17 years in an institution for people with physical disabilities). Already author of "In Praise of weakness" (Cerf, 1999), "the man's job" (Seville, 2002) and "self-construction" (Seuil, 2006), Alexander publishes Jollien here an amazing diary. His thinking, oscillating between joy and detachment, is relevant without being heavy. "The man who wrote these lines is the prey of doubt.
